Common questions

How long does an appraisal take?

Timing depends on the property and the type of appraisal. We'll give you an estimated delivery date when we confirm the assignment. Ask us if you need a rush appraisal.

How much does an appraisal cost?

We quote a flat fee after reviewing the property and the assignment. Call or send the property details to request a quote.

What's the difference between an appraisal and a CMA?

A comparative market analysis is usually prepared by a real estate agent to help with pricing. An appraisal is an opinion of value developed and reported by a licensed or certified appraiser for a stated purpose.

How should I prepare for the inspection?

Please provide access to the rooms and areas we need to inspect. A list of recent upgrades, with dates and costs if available, is helpful.

Do you work with FHA loans?

Yes. Christina A. Wilson has been FHA-approved since 2021, and we work with conventional and jumbo lending panels across the United States.
